By signing below, you acknowledge and understand that participation in fitness, boxing, or any other physical activities offered by Yorkville Boxfit involves certain risks, including but not limited to serious injury, permanent disability, or death. You accept and voluntarily assume all such risks.
3. Acknowledgment of Responsibility
By participating in activities offered by Yorkville Boxfit, you agree to take full responsibility for any injury, loss, or damages that may occur. This acknowledgment includes acceptance of all risks, including those arising from negligence.
4. Consent for Minors
If signing on behalf of a minor, the undersigned parent/guardian consents to their child’s participation and agrees to all terms outlined herein on behalf of the minor.
5. Cancellation Policy
You must cancel any scheduled session at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so will result in a full charge for the session. Yorkville Boxfit reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions at its discretion.
6. Purchasing and Refund Policies
All purchases of memberships, training packages, or individual sessions at Yorkville Boxfit are final and non-refundable. Refunds or exchanges may only be granted at the discretion of management under extraordinary circumstances.
7. Privacy Policy
Yorkville Boxfit respects your privacy and will protect any personal information shared with us. Data collected, including your contact details and health information, will be used solely to improve your experience and will not be shared with third parties.
8. Medical Treatment
In the event of an emergency, Yorkville Boxfit may provide medical assistance, including calling for emergency medical services. By participating, you consent to any necessary medical treatment.
9. Photography and Media Release
By participating, you grant Yorkville Boxfit permission to use photos or videos taken during activities for promotional or marketing purposes.
10. COVID-19 and Infectious Disease Acknowledgment
You understand the risk of potential exposure to COVID-19 or other infectious diseases and agree to comply with all health and safety guidelines provided by Yorkville Boxfit.
11. Limitation of Liability
11.1 Disclaimer: The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for errors, interruptions, or inaccuracies on the Site.
11.2 Indemnity: You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Site or participation in activities.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Toronto, Ontario.
